By downloading or using Kodo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to use Kodo on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use, in line with the App Store Terms of Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Kodo. In particular, you will not use it to create or distribute QR codes that link to unlawful, fraudulent, malicious, or harmful content, or to infringe the rights of others. You are responsible for the content you encode and for how you share it.

Your content

The codes and data you create in Kodo belong to you and stay on your device. You are solely responsible for that content and for keeping your own backups.

Scanning and links

Kodo can open links and other content contained in scanned codes. We do not verify where a scanned code leads. Treat unknown codes with caution and confirm a destination before acting on it. You open scanned links at your own risk.

Disclaimer

Kodo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that every code will generate or scan correctly on every device.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Kodo.

Purchases

If Kodo offers optional paid features, purchases and any subscriptions are processed by Apple and governed by Apple's terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above. Continued use of Kodo after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law rules.
